REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANT · BASED IN BRAMPTON

Meet Ryan Elliott, B.Com., RPA

I provide direct accounting and tax support to individuals and owner-managed businesses that need to catch up, organize their records and maintain a reliable compliance process.

The Work I Am Built For

Many of the clients who contact me need more than a return prepared. They may have several years of personal or corporate filings outstanding, incomplete bookkeeping, GST/HST or payroll accounts that no longer reconcile, or CRA correspondence that has become difficult to manage.

My role is to turn that uncertainty into an ordered process: identify what is outstanding, gather and reconstruct the supporting records, prepare the required filings, respond within the agreed scope and build a system that makes future compliance easier.

This work is practical and document-led. I do not promise a particular refund, assessment or relief decision. I explain what the available records support, what CRA controls and what should happen next.

Professional Background

I hold a Business Administration – Accounting Advanced Diploma from Humber College and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management, with a major in Accounting, from Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly Ryerson University.

With more than a decade of accounting experience in both accounting-firm and industry environments, I have learned to look beyond a single return or transaction. Bookkeeping, payroll, GST/HST, corporate tax, personal tax and CRA account balances often affect one another, so I consider how the pieces connect before identifying the appropriate next step.

My work focuses on practical accounting, tax filing and compliance support for individuals, self-employed Canadians and owner-managed businesses.

  • Business Administration – Accounting Advanced Diploma

  • Bachelor of Commerce, Business Management – Accounting

  • Registered Professional Accountant (RPA) - Designation

How I Work

Direct Oversight

You know who is responsible for the agreed work, what information is required and what the next step will be in the process.

Clear Boundaries

When another specialist is required, I explain the boundary and help identify the appropriate professional or next step.

No-Judgment Support

We begin with the available facts, identify what remains outstanding and build a workable sequence without blame or judgment.

Reliable Systems

Catch-up work leads to a practical monthly or annual process that keeps records organized and makes future backlogs less likely.

What  My Registered Professional Accountant Designation Means

I hold the Registered Professional Accountant (RPA) designation from the Society of Professional Accountants of Canada. RPA members are expected to maintain their professional competence through continuing professional development and follow the Society’s ethical and professional standards.

The designation complements my accounting education and more than a decade of practical experience. Every engagement is still defined in writing so you understand the services included, your responsibilities, the information required and the agreed fee.

My current membership can be confirmed through RPA Canada’s official verification directory.
